Hinton St Mary, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book, is located at the heart of the picturesque Blackmore Vale.
It’s history dates back to Roman times.
A mosaic pavement from that period was found by the local blacksmith in the 1960s, and is now kept at the British Musuem.
